Atrial Fibrilation: Increased Risk For Women
A recent Australian study found that women suffering atrial fibrilation are at higher risk then men suffering the same condition. The study, which assessed the risk of death realted to various medical conditions found that women suffering atrial fibrilation had an 137% increased risk of death than women who do not suffer the condition compared to a 37% increase for men.
